Your initial consultation includes a comprehensive assessment of your symptoms, medical history and overall health. You will also undergo detailed blood testing covering over 70 health markers, together with a cardiovascular health assessment.
This provides our clinical team with a comprehensive baseline of your hormonal and general health and helps determine whether testosterone deficiency may be present and whether further clinical assessment is required.
Before TRT can be considered, comprehensive blood testing is required. Our assessment includes over 70 health markers, evaluating testosterone and related hormones alongside haematological, metabolic, cardiovascular, liver, kidney, thyroid and other relevant health markers.
These results help establish whether testosterone deficiency may be present, identify factors relevant to the safety and suitability of treatment, and provide a baseline for ongoing monitoring.
Once your results are available, you will have a second consultation with one of our doctors. Your blood results will be reviewed alongside your symptoms, medical history and overall clinical assessment.
Your doctor will discuss the findings with you, determine whether TRT is clinically appropriate and, where indicated, explain the available treatment options. This consultation can be completed either in-clinic or online.
Not necessarily. A single low testosterone result alone is not sufficient to determine whether TRT is appropriate. Your doctor will consider your testosterone results alongside your symptoms, medical history, relevant laboratory findings and overall clinical assessment.
Where testosterone deficiency is diagnosed and TRT is considered clinically appropriate, your doctor will discuss an individualised treatment plan with you.
Regular clinical monitoring is an essential part of testosterone replacement therapy. During the initial stages of treatment, patients attend the clinic every three months for repeat blood testing and a medical review.
Your symptoms, response to treatment, testosterone levels and relevant health and safety markers are assessed at each review. Your treatment may then be adjusted where clinically appropriate.
Yes. Testosterone replacement therapy is individually prescribed and managed according to your clinical needs. Your treatment plan takes into account your symptoms, blood results, medical history, treatment goals and individual response to therapy.
Your treatment is regularly reviewed and, where clinically appropriate, adjusted based on your clinical response and ongoing blood results.
